It has come to our attention that when updating Adobe Creative Cloud to the new 2018 version, the existing license will not work.  We are currently working with Software Licensing to get this issue resolved.

The networking team have identified several Access points that did not join the wireless controller after the upgrade performed last night. This is causing Partial outages in the following areas:

Fletcher - Fixed

Corry Commons

Lakeside - Fixed

Diamond Commons - Fixed

 

We are looking into these issues and will resolve them as soon as possible.

Skype for Business (Instant Messenger)

Access to email in Outlook, Outlook Web App/Web Mail, and on mobile devices may not be available during this time.Email flow (sending and receiving) will still be operational but may be delayed. Skype for Business clients may disconnect during this time, but will reconnect automatically.

We will be restarting the Exchange email servers tonight during our maintenance Window starting at 10 PM. Access to email in Outlook, Outlook Web App/Web Mail, and on mobile devices will not be available, but will restore after the servers restart. UFIT is implementing a resolution for the Service Issue/Outage regarding UFguest Wireless and has seen restoration of the service.

UFIT is continuing to investigate the Service Issue/Outage regarding Wireless but as of 10/2/2017 11:14am, we do not have an ETA for service restoration.

ufguest wireless is currently unavailable campuswide. UFIT is working to resolve the outage and will fully investigate the issues that caused it after the service is restored.

UFIT understands that this outage is disrupting academic and administrative processes and appreciates the impact it is having on the university community. Our staff are working as quickly as possible to restore services.

There is an issue with searching email through the Outlook client and OWA/Webmail for all CRC staff. Email Sending and Receiving is functioning normally. 

We will update the alert when this is resolved.

We are working with cisco TAC to identify and remedy an issue causing one of our phone system servers to lose connection. we will be performing maintenance tonight to pull some statistics/information to better identify the underlying cause. During this time the phones may lose connection while the system undergoes this work.

All network services for Murphree South should now be restored.


 

The network equipment in Murphree South is currently unavailable. We are looking into this issue and will update this ticket once resolved.

UFIT staff will perform maintenance for Network Services beginning on Sunday, September 10 at 6:00 AM.

**Code will be upgraded in Stadium first floor, the Stadium skybox, Yon third floor and Herritage Hall. There will be a brief 10 minute loss of network access during this change.

**A new UFNet2 environment will be deployed in support of Research "export-control" policies. This work will not be service affecting.

**Additional authentication capacity will be added to the systems which perform wireless authentication. There will be no downtime due to this change.

The maintenance is expected to be completed by Sunday, September 10 at 9:00 AM.
